It has been a minute and a half since I last posted, but hot damn a whole lot has been going down.  First and foremost, Episode 4 of Ronin Dojo Community College DX: The Digital Pirates of Dark Water Saga has been RE UPLOADED!

A while back, Warner Music Group had the episode muted because it contained unauthorized use of Balzac song.   We couldn’t have planned a better finale for a saga about internet piracy and digital rights.  Shit, we couldn’t have even planned being muted as a finale- we’re just not that smart.  Irony aside, it was annoying you couldn’t hear anything.  Luckily, our pal Dan Dzula came to the rescue, composing a new theme for Ronin Dojo Community College DX.  Check it out in the video, and for a limited time, you can download it for free.  How’s that for digital rights. . . stuff.

In addition, a there has been goings-on both offline and on.  Matt and I screened a new For Tax Reasons short at Midsummer Night Toons.  Thanks to Matt Lee for setting that up.  My music video for Teenage Bottlerocket’s “Bigger Than Kiss” got some play on Chicago’s JBTV.  (Check out the ep, it’s got a quick interview with Ray Bottlerocket and some sweet Dead to Me performances).  And She She She She’s A Bombshell screened at the Northside Film Fest with a bunch of other cartoons by New York City animators. Thanks to Casey for keeping me in NYC animation loop.  All apologies to anyone who got annoyed with the 7:38 mins of me babbling.

I’m going to go crawl back underneath a pile of work, but rest assured there’s more summer lovin’ to come.
